I see a Unibroue in there. Good choice. I think I prefer the Maudite over the Fin du Monde, but they're all pretty good. Except the Ephemère... too fruity.

I like Maudite too, but Fin du Monde is my favourite aside from La Resolution and Grande Reserve 17

Haven’t tried either of those ones. Availability of less-than-mass-market beer is poor in rural MB. I have to drive an hour down the highway just for whatever they call the taster’s pack. I’m a fan of the Trois Pistolets as well, but it’s not in the taster’s so I don't get it often. I really want to try the Noire de Chambly, and frankly any of the seasonals like the Résolution.

Oh fair enough, that's a less than ideal location for craft beer. Everything in that is good, I mean basically everything they brew is good anyways. I definitely recommend trying the seasonals if you can find them. Our local private store just happened to get them, didn't really see it coming

I think you let a bunch soak in water for a long time, and then blend the almonds finely and mix that with the almond soaked water. I’m not sure though, she makes it, not me lol
